Cheese Scones

Cheese Scones

1 cup Flour
2 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
2 cups of Grated Cheese (Cheddar or Compte or Mimmolet)
1/2 cup Milk
1 Egg
2 tbsp Butter
1/2 tsp Salt
Sprinkle of Cayenne Pepper to taste

Melt the butter and add to the sifted flour, salt and baking powder. Beat the egg with the milk and add to the mix. Add the grated cheese. Add a sprinkle of Cayenne pepper to give it a little bite. Fork into silicone molds and bake for 8 to 10 min at 220°C.

Makes about 6 large scones. Mixture can be doubled.
